ok add cloud.local to your dns, need to have a guide for this for all my sites
then peer to peer enables downloading the database of machines, sites etc
The basic idea here is to configure your router to act as a switch (terminology?) and then use a dns provider to forward traffic to a computer on the home network. Probably just use an A record, but AAAA is nice and futuristic.
Then have a database of devices, with 1 click connect / show ssh / have ssh config sync so that each device can be accessed as `ssh device1`. This will involve automatically editing ssh config, hopefully there's a directory approach to that.
Things to list for each device: name, uptime, log of events, os update log, disk space available
