Ok looking in to buying some circuit cubes for a cheap alternative to lego ...

lego ev3 also not a bad option all things considered

bluetooth upgrade+ looks like the best interactive toy.

Want at least 2 bluetooth: could get robot rumble. Bluetooth & monster maker (kinda just for me) & stem kit would be a good starting point I think.
